THE FABRIC
The first step in making a made-to-measure suit is the choice of fabric.
Sartoria Margutti offers a wide collection of high quality fabrics such as Ermenegildo Zegna, Caccioppoli, Holland&Sherry, Dormeuil, Loro Piana, Carnet and other Italian weaving mills.
We are at your disposal to advise you in the choice of the perfect fabric according to your personal needs. The yarns we use come from the best textile companies that combine tradition, technology, innovation and prestige.
PROCESSING
The quality of a made-to-measure suit can also be recognised by the workmanship. All our suits are made using a traditional plaited technique.
The front of the jacket is woven with a series of layers made of natural materials interwoven with horsehair. This serves to give a better fit and ensure that the jacket moulds to the wearer’s body.
In addition to the standard workmanship, the customer can also request special hand finishing such as buttonholes, buttons, flower holder, sleeve slits and even external hand stitching.
THE TAILOR
Our tailor Fabrizio takes measurements directly on the body for accurate and precise work and helps choose the features of the suit that best suit the customer’s build.
The jackets can be made with a lined or unlined model depending on requirements. We offer various types of models that vary the position and shape of the pockets and buttons.
